On this project DLC had to adjust to a stop start program due to Covid 19. We were delighted to have completed this 4 days prior to hand over. This gave other trades still onsite an easier task of keeping the 2 metre rule that was in place. All types of electrical work was needed on this project which included Lighting, Power, Air Conditioning, and Data Wiring.

On this project our SPA Engineers had to change the existing light fittings to new LED fittings. This was inside the kiosk/warehouse areas, and outside on the forecourt. This had to be done on nights to allow the forecourts to still trade during the day.

This East of England Co-Op supermarket enjoys a prominent location in the heart of quintessential Framlingham in the main Market Hill square. This Project required DLC to install Power, Lighting, Refrigeration, Data/CCTV and Sound. The lighting installed was a mixture of Downlights and Batten fittings, all LED. DLC took control of all associated Electrical work for Refrigeration. With new display cases being installed and the existing display cases relocated. The combining of RDM and Techtronic systems and the installation of all relevant cabling.

This Supermarket refit was programmed for night work to allow the store to stay open and trade. The Project for DLC Electrical consisted of Lighting, Power, Data/CCTV and Refrigeration. All lights were LED fittings contributing to keeping an Eco friendly world. All lighting was replaced on the sales floor area and in the warehouse. Power and Data cabling to all new kiosk and till systems. Working with the Refrigeration contractor, this element of the project was intense due to having to install all new refrigeration cases and plant while still managing the existing. This was to allow for zero downtime and allowing the trading staff to transfer products from one fridge case to another without closing.

 The Gym Group project contained all types of electrical work. The majority of containment was on show to the public. Facilities such as accessible toilets and showers needing alarms, hand dryers and heating. High level Containment with high level lighting. Led strip lighting for different work out areas. Lighting trunking system for the majority of the 6ft led battens used. Emergency Lighting, Main Panel Board wiring with internal meters. Wiring for speaker system. Wiring for data systems. Bench trunking sockets for treadmills. The list can go on!!!

 DLC really enjoyed this project and look forward to doing another in the future.

Unit 7 Hair Salon

DLC was chosen for this job to upgrade the lighting in the main area of the hair salon. Hair salon lightning also creates the mood and the atmosphere. On this particular job we chose track lighting given us versatility around the salon in conjunction with commercial style pendants using clear shades to create a subtle and stylish atmosphere. Additional sockets were needed at the work stations which after liaising with the client, we decided to use white conduit given it a bit more of a commercial feel as appose to trunking.

This DLC job was to fit out the newly built store and to extend the existing forecourt cables to the new location.  As seen in the pictures this was a full fit out for DLC from Containment, Power and Lighting, Kiosk, Office, Disabled toilet, Air Conditioning, Network Cabling, CCTV and Fire Alarm. This job was completed in a tight time scale of 3 weeks after the initial build overran.
